On 27 September 2025, SHWire was named a finalist in the Oskar Patzelt Foundation's Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses.

Out of more than 4,000 nominations from across Germany, SHWire is one of seven companies to have made it to the final round. This recognition honours SHWire's exceptional innovative strength and consistent strategic orientation as the European market leader for winding wires.

A decisive criterion was our data-driven manufacturing. Using sophisticated production software, SHWire processes millions of data points per minute, intelligently networking machines with each other and thus ensuring maximum process reliability. The result: enameled wires of the highest quality – for the most demanding applications in electromobility, industry and energy generation.
