SHTherm® stands for maximum thermal resistance combined with outstanding electrical and mechanical properties. The products in this series are specially designed for high loads and are characterized in particular by various insulation layers for e-mobility flat wires, which guarantee exceptional safety against thermal, electrical and mechanical stress.
With temperature classes up to 240 °C, in both copper and aluminum, round or flat, as well as with bonded coatings and special coatings, SHTherm® offers a wide range of applications and maximum flexibility combined with high process reliability.

Latest development: SHTherm® 240 (PI) as round and flat wire
The SHTherm® 240 (PI) marks the technological pinnacle of the series:
A high-temperature-resistant enameled wire with polyimide insulation, developed for the highest thermal requirements in modern high-voltage systems.
It combines the outstanding properties of the SHTherm® series with the exceptional thermal and chemical resistance of polyimide (PI) insulation - for maximum safety and resilience under extreme conditions.
